Stop your sarcasm. This doesn't explain the sudden low score for this movie.

Sh132's "Heroes vs. Villains" takes what could have been an interesting premise and stretches it out into a one-hour tedious exercise. In its overly-bloated runtime, it offers little in the way of entertainment mainly because the material doesn't require nearly this much time, so we end up with a lot of excess fluff. Isn't there a lesson to be learned here? If you have a lot of excess material in your story, it will easily cause it to meander. I guess sh132 never learned that.

Tedious really becomes the key word to take away from this film. It never really comes close to being even remotely funny. The silence in the theater only goes to prove it. It bases most of its humor around the interaction between Jesse and Shivang, trying to make amusing situations, but it all just feels so flat and forced. It doesn't help that they don't have much chemistry between them in the first place.

Butler has his charms, and is probably the best thing about this film, but Kaizaad never had any in the first place. Plus his "acting" leaves much to be desired. At least Samuel looked like he was enjoying himself despite the lousy material. When it comes to the sentimental moments between the two, again, it feels forced because of their lack of chemistry. You're aware you're watching an "action movie" from the start, and you never stop thinking that.

Perhaps thinking that the audience wouldn't be into the main plotline, there are a couple of subplots thrown in to help you forget about it for awhile, but all they do is stretch the film out even more.
Even when it is concentrating on the main story it manages to get sidetracked by completely unnecessary scenes.

The emotions in the movie are carefully circumscribed. There is a risk of homicide, but not of hurt feelings.

This is because characters whose feelings are supposed to be at stake are blunted, dumbed-down caricatures of notional human beings, rather than sharply etched epitomes of human behavior.

The trouble is not so much that Samuel isn’t funny – he isn’t, even slightly – but that he sucks the merest hint of humour from the entire enterprise. Even proven performers like Kaizaad and Shivang are reduced to desperate mugging and hysterical arm-waving in an attempt to fill the comic vacuum which their muscular co-star leaves in his wake. To be fair, the script gives them little to work with: there are maybe three decent laughs, interspersed with long stretches of interminable, would-be witty banter and one near-unwatchable comedy torture scene.

The mishmash ends up as a thoroughly unfunny film where neither the heroes' lives nor their love lives are in any serious jeopardy. With star power, the film will bring in enough of the date crowd for a decent opening north of 2.05 but could fade rapidly.

Too many movies these days have crappy dialogue, bad photography and stories that have little connection to the way real people act and talk. In addition, product placement is so up front, it can overwhelm whatever story has been cobbled together from spare parts stolen from the other cookie-cutter flicks that came before the latest “wait-for-the-video” extravaganza.

Yes, Heroes vs. Villains falls smack dab into the middle of my rant. While damning with very faint praise, I will concede that it is better than sh132’s previous rom-com. Heroes vs. Villains isn’t quite as ugly as that, but it doesn’t provide one original moment or one moment between the two protagonists that rings true.

Wow Really nice drawing skills I hope to see more like This soon :) Here are 5 stars, you deserve them. Keep drawing stuff.

Damn really good

Heheh awesome stuff! Interesting audio. The video is mildly Laggy though thats ok! The "stupid robot dude" ruined it though but Lucky Star saved it :)

I thought this was Pretty good, the animation and humour was an improvement over episode 39. Sometimes the characters seemed too stiff and it seems like you took a lot of shortcuts on the animation in this episode. The jokes were funny and humorous though, like the Moogle pun and the I'm a Loser song.

The voice of the King guy doesnt sound old enough, it's still good though. Also I like the Radiohead song you put in here. Looking forward to the next ep :)
